Mónica Calderón Reyes was born in the same year as the extraterrestrial E.T. comes to the big screen. After a childhood and adolescence full of television and pop music, she studied a bachelor's degree in Audiovisual Communication at the University of Puerto Rico. After graduating, she began working as a Production Assistant for multiple artistic and corporate projects.
In 2007 she moved to the city of New York where she worked as a producer and editor in documentary and fiction projects. Upon returning to the island, she becomes part of the group that creates the political and social satire blog Insula.TV. Currently, she continues her career as a freelance editor in Puerto Rico.
In addition to editing, Monica's interests are: television series, playing guitar, reading blogs, photography, participating as "extra" in commercials and film projects, and in the search for what brings satisfaction to her life.
